Owen MIPS Spherical Helmet

The Giro Owen MIPS is a versatile, rider-driven ski and snowboard helmet built for those who move fluidly between big mountain terrain, trees, and the park without wanting to change their gear in between. In-mold construction keeps the overall weight down at 480g while MIPS Spherical technology, uses two independently moving foam layers to reduce rotational energy during impacts more effectively than a standard slip-plane approach. Where the Owen stands apart aesthetically is its Stealth Thermostat Control venting system, which moves the airflow adjustment mechanism inside the helmet to preserve the clean, minimalist exterior lines that the design is built around. The In Form 2 Fit System with Vertical Tuning lets you dial in both circumference and fore/aft tilt on the fly, ensuring a seamless interface with Giro goggles and a gap-free fit across different head shapes. A Fidlock magnetic buckle and Ionic+ Fleece liner round out a helmet that's as comfortable on hour one as it is on hour eight.
