The Shocker Air Equalizer allows you to add instant air ride towing to your pickup & camper that currently has an equalizer or weight-distribution hitch. The Shocker Hitch Air Ride Equalizer for WD hitches easily bolts to your existing weight distribution head. Get air ride towing in minutes. The air equalizer hitch system for a load leveling or WD hitch, helps absorb the road shock and cushions the chucking, tugs, and jerks you feel when towing a camper with a weight distribution system. Our Shocker Hitch Equalizer® fits most major brands of weight-distribution hitches. This Shocker Air Equalizer has 12,000 lbs Gross trailer weight & 1,200 lbs tongue weight rating capacities. This hitch also offers 7 inches of adjustment with the 8-hole XR or 9 inches of adjustment with the 10-hole XR (5" rise to 2" of drop, or 5" rise to 4" of drop). Air Equalizer kit comes with Air Equalizer, XR hitch for a receiver hitch. The built-in air ride system, along with the 4 bump cushions, directs the rock shock through the air ride system, still allowing your weight-distribution hitch to work as intended, giving you a smoother and safer ride for you, your pickup, camper, and its contents. Plus, the additional advantage of the Shocker Hitch for your weight distribution hitch is the ability to adjust air pressure up or down when you're towing different weights for the best ride and load control. Constructed out of heavy-duty steel that is finished with a premium textured black powder-coat finish on the air equalizer & the XR hitch. Fits Pickup Trucks Only: This is designed for pulling with a Pickup Truck - it will not work with SUVs/CUVs with coil-over springs in the rear. The Air Equalizer only works with a WD Hitch. The air equalizer kit can also be ordered to include an adjustable combo ball mount with 2" & 2-5/16" balls to use with the XR hitch when you're towing other trailers without a weight distribution hitch.
